Repositories
The RIB project is no longer under development, and this website is no longer being updated.

Below are links to the many HPC repositories created using RIB.

Department of Defense (DoD)
Computational Chemistry and Materials Science (CCM)

The CCM repository is maintained by the Army Research Laboratory in Aberdeen, MD, which is one of the DoD Major Shared Resource Centers (MSRCs).

The ARL CCM repository also has a deployment grid that shows the software installed on the ARL HPC machines.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

The CFD repository belongs to ARL and contains metadata about software specific to the CFD domain.

The Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) MSRC also maintains a CFD respository.

Grid Generation

This ERDC MSRC Grid Generation repository focuses on mesh and grid generation tools specific to DoD.

Parallel Tools

ARL maintains a Programming Tools repository.

ERDC also maintains a Scalable Parallel Programming Tools repository.

Performance Case Studies

This ARL repository contains information about performance evaluation and tuning of DoD application codes.

Signal Image Processing (SIP)

Another repository maintained by the ARL MSRC is the Signal Image Processing repository.

Department of Energy (DOE)
National Transport Code Collaboration (NTCC) Modules Library

This NTCC repository is maintained by the Office of Fusion Energy Sciences and contains modern transport source codes and relevant files that address major physics issues facing the fusion program.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
Earth and Space Sciences (ESS)

NASA has established a virtual ESS repository that is a combination of information maintained in individual repositories at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). None of these repositories are public.

National HPC Software Exchange (NHSE)
Benchmarking

BenchWeb is a repository for HPC benchmarking applications and tools.

Mathematics

HPC-Netlib was a high performance branch of the Netlib mathematical software repository and provided information about high performance mathematical software, both research and commercial. This repository is in archive status but its contents can still be obtained by visiting the NHSE Meta-repository and selecting the "Numerical Programs and Routines" for the table of contents.

Parallel Tools

The Parallel Tools library (PT-Lib) was an Internet source of information about high quality parallel systems software and tools, both research and commercial. This repository is now in archival status, however its contents can be viewed by visiting the NHSE Meta-repository and clicking on "Parallel Processing Tools" in the table of contents.

National Science Foundation (NSF)
Enabling Technologies

NCSA's Parallel Computing Team currently maintains a repository containting numerical programs and routines as well as parallel processing tools. This repository also has an associated hardware grid.

Programming Tools and Enviornments (PTE)

NSF's National Partnership for Advanced Computing Infrastructure (NPACI) has a repository for PTE applications.
