Development of the new Java version of RIB is nearing completion.

Along with elimination of the cumbersome prepackaged bundle of the MySQL database, Apache server, and Perl scripts, look for a much improved interface to the dynamically created HTML catalog, including object browsing. No release date has been set, but beta-testing has already begun. News of the release will be posted here and subscribers to the RIB Announcement mailing list will be notified via e-mail.
